Heartwarming story of lasting love — my favorite story line!

This was just perfect and I read this book in one day.

The best I’ve read in quite a while. Could t put it down. That says it all. Read it straight through in one day. Keep them coming. Loved the characters and their relationships. Just great.

Great read

I binged read this book from beginning to end. I don’t remember the last time I was so interested in reading. The chemistry between Devlyn and Garret is amazing. I just wish it didn’t took that long for Garret to realize that. 5 stars.

Oh my goodness! You will love this book! I can’t say enough about Devlyn and Garrett and their love story.

HEA but it took too long to get there. I’m not sure if Devlyn was patient or stupid for waiting forever for Garrett to finally notice her ... and when it happened, it took just as long (in terms of time, not really; in terms of emotions and tears, definitely!) for Garrett to “out” their relationship. Always got an excuse for why “now is not a good time”. Never mind that they enjoyed the behind-closed-door aspects (yes, THAT!) of it. Garrett used Devlyn - emotionally and physically - and she let him. Is that love - on either/both sides? Grandpa was the best part of the story. He was the only one with something worthwhile to say or do, every time he popped up.

All My Life by Prescott Lane is a standalone contemporary friends-to-lovers romance. Told in dual POV between Devlyn and Garrett the book opens with the high school valedictorian speech given by Garrett's daughter Mia and takes the reader on a wild trip into the lives of Garrett, Mia, Devlyn and how they came to be where they are at this crossroads in all their lives. Passionate, well-written and well-paced, this story was epic and awesome and I loved every minute of it. Devlyn has been in love with Garrett since the moment she laid eyes on him and they were best friends ever since. At fifteen, Devlyn experienced a switch in their friendship when an outsider came to their sleepy town for the summer. Garrett fell for Sheena and left Devlyn on the outside, still his best friend but she felt the loss of him when his romantic interest was turned to this newcomer. When Sheena returns months later, pregnant, Devlyn knows that is it for her. Determined now to be the best friend he could ever want - she is there for him the entire pregnancy and all the years he raised his daughter. Garrett was the one the town thought would get the football scholarship and go away to a great college, but when he becomes the teen parent and pariah of the town only Devlyn is there for him. Thanks to her solid friendship the town softens towards his outcast status and when he is left to parent alone, they all start to help in whatever ways they can. The whole town becomes "adoptive" parents of Mia. When things shift between Devlyn and himself he starts to question everything he thought he knew about the past 18 years. He sees everything in a different, much clearer light. Finally he is ready to give Devlyn everything she deserves and more and then a blast from the past shows back up ad throws everyones lives into turmoil. Loved this! Enjoy!
