    I tried getting throught his book years ago and I couldnt fiish it. I’m not sure what prompted me to try again but I finally finished it and by “finished it” I mean I skipped a lot of useless diaglogue and got the gist of the story. Not the best book, there are way better paranormal books out thre. I plan on reading the next one just to give the author a 2nd chance because this book wasn’t a complete fail. Some things were enjoyable, but it just felt like it dragged on.

    The book was way too long! The author wasn’t able to hold my attention that long, so I gave up trying to finish the book. There was so much fluff and dead weight in the book!

    If you want a hot sexy book, this is for you, good storyline but I am not a fan of cliffhanger ending. So keep that in mind .

    This book started out great and kept it going! Had some slow sections and a little redundancy, but definitely a good read. Kept me interested in all the other characters as well, so getting book 2 to read Sable’s story.

    Good thing this was free, because I wouldn’t buy it for a dollar. I’m sorry, but how does this kind of puerile trash get published when there are fan fiction authors out there writing masterpieces for free? The world just isn’t right. Neither is this “novel.” I guess I’ll go into some detail, though it galls me to waste even a minute of my time: the characters are one-dimensional, childish, ignoble, and idiotic. The world-building leaves MUCH to be desired, just plain boring. There’s no point to the sex, and the author needs to learn about show-not-tell before attempting to write. There are also grammatical errors (insert eye roll). Sorry, author, but I can’t like this. Back to the drawing board for you.

    The first to the series and boy is the description of the elf is Hot!!! Loved it!!! I also got audio for this one! Great performance! Definitely recommend it!

    I have read & re-read this series more than any of my other books. I love the foundation of this series as well as characters...you can occasionally get irritated with some of the characters but that is because you want to shake them...if I get involved enough in the stories want to slap one of the characters at moments of the story I consider that a good read ... but I like the concept of this series so it keeps me coming back...good balance of romance and world building...great paranormal romance writer I own many of her book highly recommend for good romance read
